Dr. George Morgan Scholarship

Criteria:

The recipient shall have GPA of at least a 3.0. Students with an interest in geography and travel shall be considered. Each recipient shall be returning to CSC the academic year following the award.

Dr. Morgan was a professor of Geography during his career at Chadron State College. He earned his bachelor of arts from the University of Omaha and his master's from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He later went on to earn his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 1963 and then conducted a post- doctoral study at Harvard University. Dr. Morgan taught at Chadron State College until his death in 1985.
